shogun 2 Crash on startup after installing ROTS

i used to play shogun 2 with no problems

Chrome was never installed
i deleted Shogun 2 folders in app data
still same problem crashes at start up screen and sometimes says stopped working

www.nvidia.com and try updating the graphics drivers. I don't know if Nvidia has released any Win 8 drivers yet.
In nvidia Comtrol Panel, be sure it is set to Maximum Perfformance, not auto, pwer saving, etc.

well my nvidia drivers are up to date 306.23 ... and windows 8 compatible never had any problem before installing FOTS
and yes all set to maximum performance ...
i would like to add another issue ... i kinda removed CA and Valve from registry and app data manually and reinstalled the game now when i click on SII icon it doesn't even start

Reinstall the Steam client and try it from there.
I have funny feeling its their DRM BS getting in the way.
