    Over this?

I'm about to finish building my new rig and I was wondering if I would get a performance drop or if there would be any problems with using the second power supply. I could save myself a lot of money by getting the second one and I was hoping I could do that.

They're the same price, I'd go with the modular. Other than that, not much of a difference.

Well the second one has a $20 mail in rebate as well as a $12 coupon code. So it comes to $37. Saving this money would really help me right now. Is it really that much of a difference?
Edit: I'm an idiot, just saw you said not much of a difference. What are the differences?

Didn't see that on my phone, sorry.

The SeaSonic is lower wattage, but modular. It's also a fairly reputable brand. They have similar specs otherwise, but the Corsair should be fine. Their quality has come down a bit but they're still one of the more decent brands. Don't expect wonders though, a Corsair at that price is going to be their bottom of the line, and probably pretty noisy, judging by the reviews. Still, it probably won't blow up your system, and will work just fine as long as you don't overload that 12v rail with dual, highpower GPUs.

    other options

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182131 15% off with promo code

another options its a Enermax knock off http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817194103 has 2x 6+2pins so you can pretty much run any single gpu you want without issue also 80+ bronze so more efficient

With that said the Corsair CX 600 and Seasonic 520 are essentially the same PSU if you looked at the specs you would notice both are 480w 12v rail units based on the same exact design, Corsair just rates their unit at a higher wattage. Its not terrible mind you because the corsair is 80 + basic where the Seasonic is 80 + bronze the efficiency lvl is slightly different but otherwise they are the same unit.

BEST DEAL PERIOD Thermaltake Toughpower XT TPX-675M 675W can run SLI / Crossfire has 2x 6pin and 2x 6+2pin PCIE connectors blah blah blah 5 year warranty modular etc
$30 off so $59 for a 675w 5yr warranty modular unit. Unit is made by Channel Well who makes HX line from Corsair or at least the first generation units, makes PSUs for alot of major brands and their all rock solid. Miss this deal and your left with garbage selections.
