Shogun 2 crashes to desktop when i choose DX11

GPU : GT 525m
CPU = Intel core i5
Ram = 6gb

i noticed that in the preference.script the gpu is intel HD i manually edited it to my nvidia but doesnt fix it .. the game runs on DX9 fine but crashes with DX11 what should i do ?

Your graphics chip being what it is, I'd run dx9.

lol i know i just wanted to try dx11 out of curiosity ... also some people have reported it runs more smooth maybe ??

Run the two Benchmarks. Nothing ventured nothing gained including the knowledge from them.

oh i updated to patch 2 that seemed to fix the problem .... it runs but ofc horrible performance couldn't enjoy the enhanced graphics
ill take your advice and stick to DX9 thanks for your help good sir
