    Default historycal mode

I wonder if can be inplemented a proper historycal mode , not a simple Without veterans(multyplayer) or ultra cheat ai (campaign) ""

I mean a really deep and different experience that can enjoy the veteran and the arcade lovers .

    For axample:

For multiplayer : a way of play more full of realism , like (take it as a suggestion) NTWIII was for napoleontw and other mod for the previous game (RSII , retrofit ecc..) some features that bring more realism like , increased fatigue, decreased movement speed , decreased kill ratio , an adjustment to range of fire like in darthmod for empire or ntwiii for ntw ,fog of war (for entire battlefield with the scouting necessity) , capture point like sh2 increased in sense of strategy ecc.. i've read tousand of good initiative in this sense here and on twc.

for campaign: here there are too many ideas to talk about ... and again, the forums are full of brilliant innovations that are to take in serious consideration.
But for example: line of supply , army consumption , many important point to conquer (like in machiavello) and many other stuff like this .

So the simply possibility to chose between arcade and historical to make happy everibody.

I honestly doubt this is a possibility, as CA tend to be (unfortunately) more arcadish in order to appeal to the mass market.

The only chance you'll get a more historical and realistic version over the vanilla grand campaign is if it is moddable enough to convince modders to move on with the project, which I hope will happen.

As you listed there are mods that will do this.

This mode probably hard to do

because the history about Roman and others in the same period is still mystery, there alot more to find about them

If they gonna make the history mode, They probably make "Ceaser Total War" like they do "Napoleon Total War"
Its easy to make war with others, its never been easy when we need a peace.

My holy damn simple tactic; Strike First, Strike HARD and SHOW NO MERCY.

A Caesar Total War would end to abruptly with his death. You need to include the second Triumvirate and the war between Octavian and Mark Anthony to provide some sort of completeness.
From the early years of Caesar to the establisment of the Empire under Augustus would be fantastic!

The thing with that is that as soon a player even does something, it literally changes the path of history within the game, so it would be hard to try to make historical events occur after the player has started playing.

Rather, I'd best thing that historical accuracy should only be at the time where the player first starts off, by giving an accurate description of how the world was at that instant of time, because players can be unpredictable. Sure you can add reforms in with the units, and what not, but as for civil wars and such, it may be difficult.

Scripting could solve this though, but only when certain conditions are met.
