Empty Charms classroom- Dominick's practice spot.

After Dominick got permission to use the charms classroom when it was empty, Dom set himself up in the classroom readying to begin his pursuit to excellence. Dominick had received a book from the library concerning protective spells. It was past time that he spent time becoming better at protecting himself.

After spending time reading his book and spending hours practicing his wand movements, Dominick felt confident enough to finally give it a shot. He set up one of the practice dummies he used in class. He set up across from it and set his legs. He felt the magic coursing through his body, his wand pulsating in his hand. It was a mere extension of himself, not a tool to use anymore.

Here goes nothing

For the next couple weeks, Dominick spends many hours in the class room, practicing many useful spells. Among those spells happen to be the Protego spells and it's variants. Also, in order to make sure that the protego spell worked, Dominick spend a lot of time practicing a variety of curses and other charms.

Confringo and Expulso are two spells he had read about that he also began to practice on his protection spells. This of course is after he uses spells such as Archeris to ensure it was working the first time.

Weighing on his mind the whole time were two major events, the death of his father, and the danger of Lance.
