I just need to download only Kingdoms or both Kingdoms and the main game?

Hello, i just got Medieval II Total War Gold on Steam and i don't know if i should download only Kingdoms or Kingdoms and the main game in order to play the grand campaign and 4 other campaigns.
I could just download both of them to find out but it takes too long to finish downloading so i'd be really appreciated if someone can give me an answer.

You must download the main game to play the basic campaign. Start with that download first.

After that download Kingdoms at your leisure. That will allow you to access the four expansion campaigns.
