Yes, I plan on playing as a barbarian faction (Gauls) or Carthaginians early on.

Never really liked playing as the major factions. I love bringing a minor to the top (though, Carthaginians probably wouldn't be considered a minor).

I have no idea of their accuracy but I founded the costumes nice. (and lest they don't use leather lorica like an other recent film in Britannia)

Yep, because being Rome made the original ridiculously easy, you just auto resolve your way to victory... Hopefully Rome wont always dominate in the next game.

.. You can still auto resolve your way to victory. Just look at SHOGUN 2's auto resolve, if you have a slight advantage you can end up getting a great victory where you lost 0 men.

If not however, I'll start with Rome. Isn't it lovely, to journey to Cisalpine Gaul, Tarentine Italy or Sicily, meet new people and kick their sorry asses
