    Default Broken keys

Hi fellow TWC members! I have a problem and would need some advice. A couple of days ago, the "s" key on my laptop started to act dodgy. To be more specific it didn't register prolonged pressing properly occasionally. I didn't think much of it, but yesterday it stopped working almost entirely. No longer could i backpedal in videogames, except if I pressed the key really hard, and now not even that works. Today my "d" key is showing signs of going the same way.

It is only these 2 keys that are affected, but it is affecting my gaming quite seriously. I have tried to clean the area underneath both keys and successfully removed most of the dirt that had collected, but this only seemed to worsen the problem and not help at all. Do you have any suggestions for what I could do?

Replace the keyboard. Usually you can unscrew the piece of the chassis that holds it down, unhook the ribbon cable from underneath the keyboard, and slide a new one in pretty easily.

You believe it is entirely broken? Then it is as I feared ): Should I get the new keyboard from the manufacturer or would any laptop keyboard do? It's an alienware.
