Quest for "Aura of Purity"; Difficulty 6/10

Young Twynmold has come around to the particular philosophy of seeking goodness in every endeavor to the best of his ability, having recently been into a few books about Equilibrium and the religious beliefs of Eastern Asia. He has come to believe, at least at this point in time, that a truly good soul would seek to protect the balance based on the natural world, both magical and non-magical.
He has recently read about a particular extreme in some beliefs of achieving a "purified soul, cleansed of all evil". Of course, Ralph sees this from a realistic viewpoint; he only desires to become as "good" as is humanly possible, and within the bounds of equilibrium and the interconnection of both good and evil.

Now, of course, Ralph is unsure of how to seek out such a status. He first read about how monks would live out their entire lives meditating and fasting. He immediately decides this is not the way, for obvious reasons.
He has been spending long periods of time at his spot by Hagrid's where he keeps Eurydice, pondering about this new fascination, and how to go about such a thing....

After some time of considering his options and different routes he could take, he eventually goes to his friend Dominick to see if he can help. As a Ravenclaw, Dominick was prone to curiosity and gladly decided to help his friend in any way possible. Although Dominick was never find of his school work, he was an intelligent boy and when he found himself curious about something he often did not rest well until he knew all he could.

Henry tagged along with his friends, as a good Hufflepuff, loyal to the end,

"What are we seeking again?" he asked Ralph, having taken several books from the library to aid his friend, yet still unable to comprehend what he sought to find.

They were sitting on Eurydice's slope, like they usually were of late.
Ralph didn't respond for a long time, a somber and thoughtful expression upon his face.
When he finally spoke, it was as if everyone had forgotten sound and speech and had suddenly rediscovered it.
"I want to find the true path of goodness, and follow it to the best of my ability. I've been studying a lot of philosophy from both the wizarding world and the muggle world, from ancient times to now, and yet I think none of them really have it right. Perhaps all of them do, in their own way. I want to find the best way to become entirely good-hearted. Perhaps you can call it enlightenment, if that makes sense..."
He says this with a wistfully confused look, staring out towards the lake and beyond the castle, staring at the voluptuous shapes of the distant hills and mountains, blue and green mixed for a beautiful horizon.

"From my understanding it's not really a thing.... It's kind of a state of mind. A Sidharthian peace if you will. Or at least I think." dominick ended smiling

"Riiiiiight..." said Henry, who sat next to his pal, reading a book, waiting for something interesting to occur.

OOC: This thread can sit by itself guys. If anything, there'll be a few random chapters later where Ralph will bring up his philosophical pursuit again, but other than that, this quest is really something that is achieved in a lifetime. You become pure by being pure for a long time.
