A Prince's book
Some strange rumors were roaming the castle. Rumors about a book, a certain Potions book.
They said that this book had new recipes, and enhanced versions of old recipes. It was also said that this mysterious book had spells only known to the last owner of the book, "The Half Blood Prince"
Many said that this Prince was Harry Potter, some said it was Voldemort; As both were half-blood wizards.
Lio really didn't care about the owner, but he was interested on the book, on retrieving the book.
He had done some questions to a few students, but no one knew much. Then he spent days wondering who may know something about this book, and one night, while he was comfortably sit in the Common Room a possible answer came to his head
Filch should know something, he has confiscated thousands of things. Maybe the book was one of them

Re: A Prince's book
OOC: You are going to question Filch? Not going to be fun..
Since Lio is still sitting in the common room having this thought not much happens than regular things. The other students keep talking and a few are playing assorted games of gobstones or wizard's chess.

OOC: Planning to trespass on his office
Lio needed a distraction, he guessed that a simple lie would work, so he decided to go to Filch's office, and try his luck

Re: A Prince's book
As he got near the office he noticed that the door was open and Mrs. Norris was prowling close outside.
OOC: Got to go to bed and might now be able to mod it for a bit. One more post tonight and I'll get it in the morning. Outside of that I won't be able to post again till about 5 O'clock GMT

IC: He search all the obvious places and found nothing. On Filch's desk there is nothing and on his bookshelves no likely targets were sticking out...

As he looked into the office he noticed a faint flickering that might be the light from a lantern.

There was no reply, although at the noise Mrs. Norris went scampering off to some hidden place...

Re: A Prince's book
When he got to the library he saw a very annoyed Mrs. Prince.
Why are you in the library at this time of night? I was just about to close it and leave as the last student left...

Re: A Prince's book
Uh, sorry,
Lio put a face of innocence, trying to charm the old lady
I was wondering if there is a record of every student's grades over the years. I was hoping to see my parent's O.W.Ls and N.E.T.S
OOC: I want to find the best graded students so I can find the owner, and if I find the owner hopefully the search will be easier

Mrs Prince pulled a face...
The records are not kept in the library... Along with that they are O.W.Ls and N.E.W.Ts...

He smiled, timidly for the woman

Re: A Prince's book
Mrs. Prince is glad someone realises she knows some things...
They are kept in a storage room in the dungeons. They are well protected against tampering aswell. Although if what you say about wanting to know your parents marks is true you might just want to send them an owl instead.

She feels a bit of sympathy for the poor lad, trying to see how his mother had done. To figure out how to make her proud...
If that is the case and you want to know her marks you should take it up with your head of house...

My d-dad doesn't l-like to talk a-about her; A-all I know i-is that she w-was named Olivia, O-Olivia Ziani
He was having a tough time, but he wasn't lying. His dad didn't like to talk about her, the one time Lio tried to ask him something he didn't answer and spent the next few days in an uncomfortable silence...

Re: A Prince's book
Mrs. Prince takes a note to ask the poor boys head of house about this.
Dear, you're getting worked up now. I'm sorry, would you like me to take you back up to your common room?
