So for the Men of the mountain do you have a specific region for them to live, by basically multiple settlements in the White Mountains also at what point in the campaign do the Men of the Mountians make their desecions and does the AI always make the same one or have you found a way around that

MotM start with three settlements: Dunharrow, Beorg (same territory as Edoras, though relocated settlement ) and Tirith Onodló (equals Aldburg, and intended to represent its precursor).
Much of the fields of Calenardhon will lie open for them to take control over, for though it's viewed as been a part of Gondor at this time from Argonath to the gap of Isen for gameplay considerations I've chosen to see it as a territory held more in words than reality and thus not made Gondor regions effectivly, though it lies there for the grab for them as well, if that's interesting to the player.
What concern their expansion pattern they tend to go both west and north-east, and since they for least some time are allied to Numenorean Kingdoms the alternative is limited

Yes thanks but you left out how they function under both HI and AI control

Can the territory of Morthond and Lamedon have been part of the "realm" of the Men of th White Moutain ?

That is a good question Death, and one to which I answer both Yes undoubtly and Perhaps, haha.

Yes undoubtly: The men of the White Mountain's is a term used for all of that etnic branch, a.k.a the folk kindred to the Folk of Haleth/the Haladin but who never entered Beleriand in the First Age, of who the Men of the Mountains is a subdivision, as well as the native folks of Enedwaith, Dunland, Calenardhon, Gondor (who the Numenroeans came to rule and/or mingle with) and Eriador up till Bree.
To represent this we use the new culture called Middle Men, which is prominent in all above mentioned regions, and also is used to represent the etnic branch related to Beör's folk in (and to some degree the Northmen/Hadorian kin in) Eriador; and in that light the areas in question and west of them will have a large percentages of Middle Men.

MotM as a faction currently start as Followers of Sauron [though this matter is still very much WIP as the create a good 'Loyal or Oathbreaker'-mechanic is very hard], as do Wildmen of Enedwaith, to represent their alignment to or alliance with the Dark Lord, yet their lands obviously start with significant percentages of Middle Men culture.

Perhaps: Considering that if not their folk so at least their kinsmen lived in those two areas, that they could pass down there from their highlands and that Isildur came there to settle deals with their king it is not impossible that it was in the control of the Men of the Mountains. The very name Erech is pre-Númenórean.
But I do not think so, because of a line concerning the foundation of Gondor and the stone at Erech:
In Minas Ithil was the house of Isildur, and in Minas Anor the house of Anárion, but they shared the realm between them and their thrones were set side by side in the Great Hall of Osgiliath. These were the chief dwellings of the Númenóreans in Gondor, but other works marvellous and strong they built in the land in the days of their power, at the Argonath, and at Aglarond, and at Erech; and in the circle of Angrenost, which Men called Isengard, they made the Pinnacle of Orthanc of unbreakable stone.
    - Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age
Just as all other creations mentioned are placed in the controlled realm of Gondor I interpet it as Erech was too, and Erech is at the head of Morthond Vale which technically block the way south, making it highly improbable to me that MotM controlled parts of the lowland or southern sides of the mountains that required to pass trough Gondor to reach (assuming no other reasonable ways of connection existed).
That's the base for the choice

The main reason for the Stone of Erech however was not an obstruction but to remind both the Men of White Mountains and the Men of Gondor of their mutual oaths to protect each other and assist each other, the deal no doubt had other features such as trade so the more elite warriors of the Men of Mountains would probably be clad in gondorian crafted armor and wielding weapons of their make, where ever Allies exist there is usually trade between them and some reflect the fighting styles of their allies too but still have their own techniques

Indeed, and exchange of folks and technology in both factions is already planned into the rosters; though that do not impact on the fact that in context it appears more likely Erech and the lands on the south side of the Mountains, that was claimed at all, was part of Gondor rather than part of the King of the Mountain's realm

    Thanks for your answer

That these men were in control of the White Moutains but the land south of them were gondorian, makes sense. And it would appear that the way of the dead is the only known way through the White Moutains form norh to south, so in fact it would be difficult to maintain one realm on both sides of the Ered Nimrais.

    Thanks!
well, a prime rule with mods is to NEVER set official dates haha, and we are all experienced enough to not have false impression of the effort required; yet it may be said that the team push for a beta release till summer. No promises naturally, but considering our progress and the skilled lads who put their heart into DCI:LA makes it seem possible
    regards from Goternas borg
