Atticus found himself in the predetermined meeting point about a half hour early. In any case, it would give him time to prepare the room, and gather his thoughts. He had brought with him a large book Histories of Ancient Wizards and a candle which was already burning merrily in the corner, though flickering in the drafty classroom. Although many of the students in the common room had expressed their interest in joining his society of like minded young wizards, he needed to be more sure of their loyalties, and more importantly, their comfort with...unorthodox magical practices. Atticus arranged several chairs in a circle and waited for the others to arrive.
