    Default Why won't Medieval 2: Total War Start?

    One day I was bored and I remembered that I had Medieval 2 installed on my laptop so I tried to play it and nothing happened. I tried again and still nothing happened. So I re installed it and again nothing happened. It just looks like its about to start for a few seconds but then nothing happens.
    Please Help!!!

    Did you delete all traces of the game including folder(s), registry keys, and uninstall information before attempting to reinstall?
    CA's uninstaller does not do this even in Steam.
