EBIII? ....my future grandchildren are going to really love playing that one.

I've been a huge EB fan for the past 5 years or so. I played the original as recently as yesterday. Just goes to show you how much of an amazing job they did with it. EB II looks like it's going to be an even better masterpiece, more than likely to the point where I won't even get RTWII.

I'm still a bit disappointed that we're going to see another Roman era TW game before the 19th century is tackled.

They did tackle the 19th century. It's called Fall of The Samurai. It was fairly unimpressive.

Even those who work in EB2,at least some of them ,will jump for Rome2.And imagine if the game is moddable.

I vey rmuch love the fact that people says that a game is compared to something else. Did you realise, that in order to say RTW2 is you have to buy it first, and by the way PAYING for that piece of (used that word too much, very sorry, but a cat is a cat, you know, i can't call it a feline or a tiger, it's a CAT...). That was about reminding people : game + bought -> dev team still encouraged to go the same way. Never thought i would have to explain that one day...

And, last point, i already started a religion in my familly and a set of traditions, so that my children or the childrens somewhat connected to me still use my nickname, so that when, some day, a Vjeffae Palatinae the 28th post here to say how much he loved EB2, you remember that at least 25 generations have passed.

So stating that you are playing EB2 in wait for R2TW makes you inexperienced.

Oh gee I still play MTW,so does not matter about the engine,it is the content that counts. So EB on RTW or MTW2,same,just new graphics etc,but still I appreciate the work. I am happy enough with EB 2.

It doesn't matter for you,but it matters for many other people, including me.

    Sigh...

It's not about them being the same, it is a bout enjoying them the same. I don't care that MTW's graphics are nothing compared to ETW, it still gives me the chills and gritty feel of a medieval europe. The goodness of a game goes past graphics, it has to be good in itself. Graphics are just the cherry on top.

So, please, refrain from insulting and naming and assigning values to people like that. Look at yourself and the air you bring with your persona. It is an unsurprising air.

R2 will give us some new features and better graphics, EB2 would also give new features and a new look at a good game. The two experiences would be a lot different and I don't think one will be in the way of the other( unless you also tend to have a couple of hours free time ). As for modding, hardly noone would leave their "love" and "run with the new guy"
As for your reply, aiborne guy, it reminds me of an argument with a girl, where three people were stating facts, giving arguments etc., while she just kept saying "it's not like that", "I disagree" etc.
