I just noticed, there seems to be some pesky hellens wanting to visit Heracleia. And guess whose full stack is in Armenia, hm?
Your stack I guess.Originally Posted by Musopticon?
I'm also using MetroNavalMod. I only combined it with my own mod and edited MetroNaval.
-. That the Greek Cities managed to survive is caused because of my presence. Macedon attacked Maronia and from that moment on Macedon kept sending stacks to Maronia. Macedon and the Greek City States refused to declare war.
-.Bactria is silver by the way in my campaign.
-.Armenia is Silk Purple.
-.Parthia is Tanned Brown.

Aren't those Dominus' colors?
Im sorry but in most RTW money is TO EASY to make!! In my personal mod based on Snake's romanfactions 2 (play's on PE 1.6) I incresed building's 50% cost, unit's 30% (upkeep 40%) to name a few and its 265 bc (4tpy mod) and i barely have 14 province's (also make ai faction's very strong. I can only afford 1 roman field army. I alway's mod any Rtw mod's I get to make money tight(for player at least). I have actualy lost 3 outta 6 game's soafr!
As soon as the AI blockades (what it is doing continuously) the ports of Pergamon, Alexandria, Athens and Carthage I will get a huge budget deficit.:wink:Originally Posted by nightwar

Yes, that is 12 million denari in my bank, I don't have anything to spend it on =X.
Is it a part of metro with the insane incomes you've got Havok? Cause my largest never topped 10k.
Oh, and yea I blitzed a bit =P
You are not playing RTR in that campaign; RTR does not allow silver weapons/armor.
No wonder your post count is only 58, you've been too busy wooping the AI all across Europe. GJ with the rapine and pillaging.Originally Posted by Publius Clodius Pulcher

im not using 4tpy in this one. my progress was quick because i massacred the populations of 90% of the towns i captured so I didnt need to stop very often to get garrison troops. since it takes a long time to 'romanize' the provinces that are captured before they can produce troops i think extermination is a good option. the money from looting really helps too.

i just started the metropolis/navy/4pty mod so im going to have to kiss this campaign goodbye
the 'walls only for important towns' feature is just too good to pass up, its pretty annoying having to siege all the time, and im sure its unrealistic.
I often massacre, but not always. If my spies tell me the city is a big money maker, I'll probably leave the population intact. Also, the first, the ones nearest to your starting towns, rebel provinces I only conquer and maybe enslave to get the first cities to 6000 population.
RTR gold at least, the final foundry upgrade at huge city gives you silver stuff. RTR doesn't allow for gold unless it's cities that rebelled to you.
nice
Really? I didn't know this.
I checked the EDB files and yes, the RTR foundry allows for +2 to armor and the light/heavy weapons bonuses, thus giving troops a "silver" chevron.

i keep hearing it but dunno wat it is, wats 4tpy?
4tpy is an abbreviation for 4 turns-per-year. It a generic term used in the RTW modding community for a mod based on using a script to makke the game engine use 3 summer turns and then 1 winter turn to a year. Kind like having a spring, summer, and autumn turn followed by a winter turn. After the winter turn a game year passes due to the RTW game engine using winter turns ending to start a new year.Originally Posted by polak966
Several mods are available now that either use their own campaign script to achieve this, or you could try my 4tpy Mod v1.9.3 which is compatible with RTR Platinum v1.6. I will have a new version for the RTR Platinum v1.7 release.
