Custom maps

I used to play with the custom mappack with 1.44 but with 1.51 I have the feeling that it doesn't work any more... Anyone is still playing with custom maps?
My custom maps are in the folder : data/world/maps/custom

Hey Panzerschreck, I too have the custom maps installed at the same location and when I attempted to Start a custom battle in 1.51 I get a CTD.

Exactly, it doesn't work anymore and it's a pity.

I have the same issue, except there is no error or anything, it simply vanishes to desktop. Is this a memory problem of some sort?

Thanks for the reply Kahvi, but for some reason it still just vanishes me to desktop, I can't think of what would be wrong.

I placed the text file Reiksfart provides in the data folder section. Still vanishes. Kind of stumped on what the issue would be. I think it would really add to the value of COW/RODG if there were some more quality maps to choose from. Like TATW, where the maps match the picture displayed. Several of them on COW are unplayable due to terrain mishaps, water/hills etc...
