    Hi guys, I have started to create a Mod for Rome total war (rtw & rtw-bi) based around the television series Time commanders, however it has become apparent that I need help in order to finish the mod. this Mod manly focuses for historical battles, and custom battles although it will contain a campaign map. The problem or area I need help with is for creating the battle maps similar to those found in the series and with an interlude, 'how the battle was fought' based on the television footage and creation of the campaign map.

    there will be the following factions although it will probably change.
    Game mod factions
    1. Rome Julllii [TC]
    2. Rome Brutii [TC]
    3. Rome Scipio [TC]
    4. SPQR
    5. Egypt [TC]
    6. Carthage [TC]
    7. Hittites (troy)/Armenia [TC]
    8. Greek city states [TC]
    9. Thrace/Thebes [TC]
    10. Dacia [TC]
    11. Britons [TC]
    12. Gaul's (Helvettii, Tboi & Telingi) [TC]
    13. Macedon [TC]
    14. Pontus/Parthia (persia) [TC]
    15. Germans [TC]
    16. Seleucids [TC]
    17. Indus [TC]
    18. Scythian/ Huns
    19. Eleutheroi [TC -although they called it the Spartacus rebellion or slave]
    key: [TC] are factions that appeared in the show, / means combined factions, (possible factions to be that the current faction can be changed into.
    the other faction that did not appear in Time commanders
    Spain, will be deleted
    Numedia will be swapped for Indus, and given its relative place on the map.
    Sythia will be renamed Sythian/ Huns and given a reform in order to show the change in warfare and power during the wars in the steppes
    the goths will be donated to Dacia, Ostra goth to the Huns and Vicsi Goths to the Germans.
    The norsk will come under the german faction and the English will come under the Britons this is they are still in the game by the end will be given a reform .
    The eastern & western Roman Empires will have their troops donated to one of the 4 roman factions repsecatavly and be given a reform in order to demonstrate the change in the army.
    SPQR will remane in the game although it never appeared in the show.
    * This battle was fought by a team of celebrities consisting of Kate Silverton and Al Murray as the Generals, and Raji James and Ricky Glover from Eastenders as the two lieutenants.

    A bomb's a bad choice for close-range combat.

    Hi, can you post a refence image for each unit you have listed?.
    Anyway the warband in that video is the model of the chosen swordsmen with an unused skin that can be found in the textures folder. That gallic skirmishers the same thing. That gladiators are mirmillo gladiators with two_handed animation. I suggest you to read this thread:

    I suggest you to find a free modeller/texturer in the forum. I only know how to modify export_descr_unit, descr_model_battle and export_units. I also have some images from the battle of troy

    Thanks pics Warcrafthero I am having problems loading up photos, we will nee you because Some of the models I have loaded up from other sources do not work, also do you have any experience with other files?

    Unfortunately i'm not able to do mapping, i'm only able to modify some little files; but if you want i will post here the images of the units from the videos

    the first Saxon models are (freyd's men) modified from BI peasants. also KLA odes in his Gold pack 2 some models that look very much like Time commanders Harold 'Bluetooth' Hadrada and his Bodyguard and Harold Goodwinson.

    Oh we also have the another option having Lionskins Champaign map which covers more area and delves further into the Scandinavian and Russian Artic. and into India
