The quest for fortified mind

William had began practicing the art of Occlumency within his spare time at hogwarts, it was something he felt that could become of great importance in the future. The key to the success of this mission is practice and secretcy for William did not wish any to know of his ability. Christmas holiday has come and now William has a great opportunity to advance his skill and so it begins within his office

ooc: Legillimency/Occlumency is a dual skill set to learn. It is about a 6/10 on the difficult meter, but very doable for an adult wizard. Excellent RP should involve a bit of storytelling here, or simply making things up on the fly. As you try to invade the minds of others you gain tid bits of insight into their fears, hopes, and desires. You are therefore allowed to metagame a bit as you learn (only in this thread, until the skill is mastered and you can cast the spells from a distance). In addition to this other wizards may attempt to invade your mind, and you should try to shield yourself from it. I will be moderating this event for you.

William sat in his office poundering his first victim, he was abit uneasy about reading the minds of hogwart students but students would be the easiest to to start learning on as they would lack the defensive skill. His thoughts went to Ms. Silver as she left his office in tears, he wanted to see how much it affected her. William pulled out his wand and uttered the words

William was about the begin his journey before having a change of heart, he had no intentions of reading the mind of a weeping girl. his goals put on hold he pounder who could he use to train on to improve his skills. the class list sitting infront of him he went through the names one by one trying to put faces to the names on the piece of parchment. He continued to do so until he came across the name of Mr. Prince, A bright student within the art of potion making and perhaps his star pupil.
