Most of what we know about corruption is that its cased by distance to capital. So is there away to turn of distance to capital because im comfortable playing without it on.

I'm pretty sure corruption is not based on distance to capital in SS. If you use BGR, corruption is even more than stated on financial sheet (because of traits, Im guessing). You should probably ask this in the Mod Wirkshop if you don't get a reply.
Corruption is not exactly the same as distance to capitol but works on similar principals and you can increase or decrease it. I have mixed feelings about it- for lack of any other mechanic it works, given better traits or scripts availability it should be reduced alot in my opinion.

I know that distance to capital and corruption are highly related. My question is how do i disable it from existing?
I dunno about disabling it entirely, but law buildings
make it go away.
You can edit the Settlement_mechanics.xml file in the data folder. There is a spot for distance from capital to order (SOF) and corruption to income (SIF). I never set them to 0 but have set it to 0.01 to test and it works. Corruption and distance will have little impact on income and order.
Worked like a charm 99% of all corruption is gone. And im Free to expand wherever i please on the map without worrying about this pesky problem.
And for all of you out there that are new to SS/medieval 2 Corruption is based on Distance to capital, Law buildings will do very little to deal with it.
