well i really hope there is real commands in the real languages they spoke back in those days for things on the battlefield, such as when a hastati unit is throwing their javelins or whatever they used, you should hear the commander of that unit say something like "LOOSE" rather than "FIRE" and it should differ based upon what faction it is, so if it's Egyptians they should say it in Egyptian..

well in Rome 1 they spoke with particular regional accents, i think it would be very much work investigating phrases and speak them out correctly - they failed at Shogun 2 in this term, as one japanese reported. for me different accents would fit. btw the german voices were better than the english ones

Not sure if anyone speaks Etruscan or any of the Gallic tribal dialects or even the Iberian languages.
