Newbie Question about Janissaries

Sorry for if asked before and ignore my ignorance

I'm playing with Seljuks in late era campaign and I'm in 1402, in some of my cities I already built a royal acedemy plus officers academy, gunpowders was discovered years ago, and I couldnt train any kind of Janissary troops yet! not the heavy infantry one, nor the archers one and "hell yeah" muskeeters. Timurids entered the east of persia and I desperately need this guys. Which building did I miss?

You should get the janissary heavy infantry and jannissary archers very soon if necessary buildings are constructed. The muskets don't come until 1500s.

Sorry again. well this is my bad. Today is the day for me apologize repedeatly. I was fool enough to say that the year was 1402, nope it is 1372 and we dont have full plate armour. So this is normal to not to have those guys. It seems I have to wait another 20 years.

they'll be available to recruit in between the times of 1380 to 1400, that's when the archers and heavy infantry are available to use, and boy are they deadly
