But there's still an HRE, acting as like an alliance or something between the small states?

Every time I try to start a campaign or custom battle the game crashes. I am using the PMTW_MUSIC_PACK_01 download, so I don't think that's the problem. Is it because I'm using the JSGME mod switcher? The thread on your forum (down at the very bottom) implied that it would be fine, but that's the only thing I can think of. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Well, it certainly isn't the mod switcher. I just tried using the installers on the original file itself, and it still crashes like before. I'll try uninstalling, deleting everything left over, and then i'll see if it still crashes over a fresh install.

EDIT: That worked. Apparently there were bits and pieces of old mods in there. I like your mod! This'll distract me for a good while now.

No alliance anmore- it represents the areas under controll of the Hapsburg dynasty.

Damn. So the habsburg rulers hold the title "Holy Roman Emperor"?
What would be cool to see is have the german states permanently in alliance, so as to somehow replicate the still-existing HRE. :hmmm:

Nothing better can be achieved than currently in the game
i.e. The Hapsburgs have several provinces, elected emperor, can recruit soldiers in all HRE german provinces and can call for crusade-like National Levy - designed to counter the Ottoman threat.

they're changing the badges to a more byzantine feel i think... i think the Byzantine Empire was still a little bit Roman and had the same lifestyles.. at least i think so...

Why Byzantine? The byzantines suck. If this is for the new MTW2 thing, then why don't they change it to medieal western europe? I mean, when people think "middle-ages", people usually think of knights and ****. :hmmm:

Excellent game I must say - my only problem being with the Roundhead faction. Couldn't they be better represented by having a hereditary Lord Protector, and a useless son likely to spark another civil war?

Never mind me, I'm just studying the period in excruciating detail at the moment.

    Unfortunatelly it is very hard...

Small changes allowed adding mouch more new factions to the game. It also simplifies the installation of the patch.

I can promise it will be released next week.

    The new factions are:

    Age of Exploration

    Emirate of Granada

    Kazan Khanate

    Religious Turmoil

    Morocco

The state of Berber nomads, religious fanatics, vangeful Moors, conquerors of of golden states of Africa and camels.

    Hessen-Kassel

    the most loyal Swedish allies

    Wallachia ( replaces Moldavia)

during the time of the damn stubborn Michael the Brave

    Sun King's Ambition

    Wurttemberg

    Montenegro

    Orthodox mountain theocracy

+ Uzbek Khorde in MP pack ( replace Hessen)

and the infamous Bundschuh only in their small pack ( replace Granada) - especially interesting choice for all revolutionaries and alter-globalists

    [hugs him]

Larry: Aww, don't worry about it sweetheart.

Hi guys, im thinking of reinstalling MTW just to try this out. Is it complete or are there any unfinished stuff or game-crashing bugs still in?
