Your mod isn't out yet and is already a must have.
Lorien is getting betterwith custom models. I've been considering more Shire towns or switching them. Suggestions are welcome, maybe even a poll. Longbottom never really struck me as an important town.
Still working on the Gwathlo river in a way, the River itself is redone but the bigger problem is now Eregion and Dunland. They have to be moved south-west more and expanded, especially Eregion. Its now far more accurate, but basically requires them to be fully redone. The two rivers in Eregion and the Mitheithel/Hoarwell river have been redone as well to lore accurate standards. Work is also being done on Amon Hen, and the river from Rauros to Caras Galadhron has been redone. Buckland is also implemented now. The Tower Hills with the three White Towers has been redone and the towers moved. Previews will come once the Gwathlo and its surrounding regions is complete.

Keep up the great Work!!!
Gwathlo could also host flash floods from the Medieval vanilla as its banks often broke and flooded...
About the Shire I would Suggest:
Hobbiton with special building: Bag-End and Greendragon
Buckland with anciliary "Master of Buckland" and the Bridge of the stonebows as a special Building
Tookborrough with Anciliary "Thain of the Shire", and special building the tobacco fields adding more trade.
Michel Delving with anciliary "Mayor of the Shire"
Undertowers (Elostirion Split into Elostirion and undertowers) with anciliary "the Warden"
Here is a nice map with the boundaries of the shire... you could keep the farthing boundaries, expanding the Northfarthing a bit to the south to contain Hobbiton, and the South farthing to the north to contain Tookborrough

Lets keep enjoying kings and wizards. But also remember to keep them where they belong.
Where they can do little harm.
Where they entertain us.

Those are really good suggestions. For the 'Westmarch' do you mean a settlement called The Undertowers or some other town? I've already removed Elostirion as a settlement, didn't seem right. Otherwise those settlements and ancillaries are really good ideas. I think I will use the village resource to represent lesser towns.
Regarding disasters like flooding, that I actually don't know how to implement that. Sounds lile a good idea though.
I meant a town called Undertowers.
Elostirion could remain and become a fortress... It is one of the sites whose name tell us some info... (ok some may call the following lines lore rape)
Though the Emyn Beraid had three towers, the name Elostirion [El: "star" + ostirion "fortress"] indicates that at least that one was something more than a mere tower, as in that case it would be a "Mindon" not an "Ostirion"... possibly it was a fortress with a tall tower...
Also I would remind those who may object that Minas Tirith is translated as the Tower of Guard and was indeed a City with a Tower...
Lets keep enjoying kings and wizards. But also remember to keep them where they belong.
Where they can do little harm.
Where they entertain us.

I think it would be best to keep the number of regions in that area down, the value of two settlements that close to each other isn't too high there. Overall a simple Westmarch region with the Undertowers would work. It would span from the Tower Hills to the Far Downs, including both. It would be controlled by Lindon at the start.
Great progress on the Gwathlo/Eregion/Dunland revamp, should be finished within 24 hours for preview, with focus then moving to Moria and its surrounding area.
Update: It seems that the work to be done on finishing regions (Dunland, Shire, Eregion) before I present/re-preview them continues to increase. I've decided not to rush the previews, and continue as I have been, focusing on fine detail and lore-accuracy.
For now, I do have a quick little preview. Isengard is well done in Vanilla, it simply suffers from two key flaws: Isengard's west and east mountains are undefined, leaving them flat yet still bearing the mountain texture. The other flaw is the Isengard settlement cutting off the mountains behind it, creating stretched cliff-faces. The stretching is 99% fixed, and the west and east mountains actually exists now. Enjoy a rather simple preview.
Edit: This is old, new preview below

I agree, this looks great! Should there be a bridge over the Isen that far north, though? I can't recall, I know that Saruman could send troops down both sides to surround the Fords, so I suppose it makes sense.
In Lorien Forest cities have walls , bout those walls are small .And can not climb on them . Is there a possibility ,to make the walls on wich we can climb ?
American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.
A video of false chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which led to Western illegal attacks.
The bridge that HeisManziel talk about(destroy by the Ents at the end of the second movie) could be a little village and be modelised has a bridge.
" Is it one of the numerous cool features DaC mod will feature , or my eyes are cheated by some spell ? "
" It is one of the countless awesome changes made to the already stunning Third Age mod ! "
I love these details , FireFreak !Excellent work . You and the DaC team are very concerned with the lore accuracy , and it is fabulous !

ThanksI looked over some maps, there is a single crossing it seems at the Fords of Isen. However, it shows on other sources that Saruman did attack from both sides. Here's a map that proposes something:

I think placing a bridge just to the right of Isengard could work quite well.
Also another thing, how many people would want Helm's Deep moved? Currently it's placed very off to its actual location:

http://3rin.gs/ is a good site, also shows the location of the Hornburg.
I'd like it move yea.![]()
Okay, final work on the Isengard mountains and bridge, and had an amazing result. I think these two screenshots will sum it up. Left mountain less a blob and the removal of the bridge, yet with a functional crossing. The old preview can be used for comparison.

Much treeless now ! I like ,it , since it must have been a cold land , with hills , rugged terrain and less tress than Trollshaws . Greta work !![]()
A road would look cool between Isengard and Fangorn camp, but lit ils already good.

Doesn't each of the elven rings have their own power? I think Galadriel's ring's power is unique.
