Veteran glitch level 9

It's nearly October now. Why is this still a thing? Why is it still impossible for me to get my level 9 range enhanced Tosa squad?

This whole situation has been... horribly handled. Fall of the Samurai is still a buggy, incomplete product, and yet Creative Assembly has been working on Rome 2 for months?

level 9 unlockables are clan dependent on whether you are in a Shogunate or Imperial faction. To get the desired effect you must join the correct corresponding clan that has the chosen specialization so to get the Tosa level 9 range you must be in an IMPERIAL CLAN Furthermore, units in FoTS are divided into factions despite them being all available in multiplayer.

imperial clan

all bears

I *am* in an Imperial clan. Is the issue that I'm Imperial Cavalry instead of Imperial Infantry? They should really make that clear if so, because it doesn't mention an infantry specialty requirement.

Tosa problem has been repaired BUT it applies only to brand new units. So if you had vets that date pre-patch, you have no luck.

The Tosa Rifleman with extended range? I've managed to upgrade all units, with the exception of those from the Shogunate, and the Tosa bunch, as of 17th September, and I've been wondering why they won't.
