Guess something went wrong...?

Well im guessing that something went wrong but everytime i try to start RTW it gets about 2secs into the loading page and then closes its self...

I installed it onto a clean vertion of the game and the game was 1.5...

What should i do? Restore my pc to an earlyer date and try the install again?

did you install both 5.0 and 5.1??? because if you just installed 5.1 then its gonna crash because 5.1 is the patch for 5.0..... reinstall rome.. patch it up to 1.5 then install TE 5.0 and then the TE 5.1 patch

yeah thats what im gona have to do, i did try the system restore, but that didnt get me very far

Should be fine for you to install 5.0 over your non working TE 5.1 and then again the 5.1 patch.

No need to install everything again.

yeah i have done it now, just reinstalled everything again

i installed TE and i went to start the game, it went stright to the original menue. is there suposed to be a shortcut? and would BI have something to do with this?

did you patch it to 1.5??

1. install RTW
2. patch RTW to 1.2 then to 1.3 then to 1.5 (if you have gold edition just use the 1.5 patch)
3. install Terrae Expugnandae 5.0
4. install Terrae Expugnandae patch 5.1
5. start the game and enjoy...

I was using gold, so i just re-instaled the 1.5 patch and then folled from there, still didn't fix it though, guses i'll have to start from the begining...

I followed your instructions to the letter flip, and it still doesent work

A lot of times this is caused by a bad downlaod, so the files are not installed correctly. Try redownlaoding TE and try again.

Make sure you point the installer to the right directory - .[drive]\...\RTW\DATA of the installation you want to mod otherwise it will install to the default even if there is no RTW there...

Thanks you, C_F, that was what was wrong, i have two games, the Actvision and the Sega one, and since i didn't completly un-instal the Actvison one, it kept sending it to one that didn't really work. thanks agian, awesome Mod.
