Question about Byg grim's reality.

Hello everybody, I'm playing SS 6.4, with BGR IV, Savage AI, and G5 Really Bad AI. Of course on VH/VH.
I'm wondering, does the AI suffer from the same restriction that the human player do? Like recruitment, supplies, and no-free upkeep.

That's a shallow way to look at it because the AIs lack of ability is not very realistic either. The best any game (in existence) can do is to make the AI and the game appear realistic and intelligent, which I think bgr does better than no bgr. Incidentally the ai has supplies in version V.

I don't mind that the AI Factions gets super bonuses in combat strength and money to make up for their weak AI compared to humans (or at least some humans ).

The AI armies not getting supply trains was the biggest "no go" for me though.

I'll definitely give version V a shot when it comes out.

They don't have BGR specific restrictions that you've mentioned. However, I believe most of the AI's insane money bonus are removed, so the AI is weaker due to BGR as well, and allows you to wage effective economic warfare against them.
