Atticus Prince boarded the train for what would be his third year at Hogwarts, He had passed the summer like he had most others, staying out of the house as much as possible and tracking down ingredients for his ever-evolving potions fascination. Most had ended with abject failure, but others had convinced him that with the right materials and supplies he could brew some rather advanced potions. He took a seat in a vacant box awaiting the arrival of the other students. It seemed that he was always the first one on the train. He stroked Regis' fur.
"A new year, new experiences, and more chances to improve my skills at Divination." Violeta thinks to herself as she arrives with her cousin Ashley, who is as per usual, eating every flavor beans in that game she plays with them. Violeta already told her she'd have a mixture of luck this time, but would get a vomit flavored one soon. She looks at all her belongings, school books, Divination books, a crystal ball, two decks of Tarot Cards, her pet owl, and some other items. They enter Platform Nine and three quarters to sift through the crowd of first years doing a myriad of actions, from crying to waving goodbye to their parents and other family members there. Ashley and Violeta board the train and begin walking through the cars to find a open cabin.
Atticus thought he heard Violeta and Ashley talking in the corridor, he poked his head out and waved for them to come to his car.
As Violeta is distracted reading a book on dream omens, Ashley waves back to Atticus and leads her cousin into the car as well. "Hi Atticus! How are you?" Violeta looks up from her book long enough to nod at Atticus, then after helping put away their belongings, sits next to him while Ashley sits across from her, continuing to eat the jelly beans. Violeta looks at Regis and pets him a bit. "Who's a good kitty..oh, hi Atticus."
Lyonel boarded the train with uncertainty. He sat at an empty space in the middle of the train, and saw through the window; His father was saying goodbye to him, waving his had. Lio smiled, his father was a great man
He was bored, he took out and checked his wand.
15 inches with phoenix feather core, beautifully made and magnificent looking; He was indeed proud of it.

A young, plump boy strode awkwardly into the train, pushing a small wagon filled with books, bags and suitcases, and on top of it, a brown own that walked restless inside his cage, scaring the boy. Howard, the boy, took a seat in the first empty wagon he found, and began to look outside the window, as he waited for the train to start moving, hoping no one else would walk in.

Weatherby Wiggins, his arm wrapped around his baby sister's shoulder, walked through the train with a broad smile on his face. He had been feeling better and sleeping better since his private lessons had begun in the distant land of Macedonia - he wasn't cured of his ills, but he was in a better place now at the beginning of a new year.
Nice to see you again Violeta, Ashley. It seems like summer lasted forever. I'm ready to get back to school truth be told, even if it means sitting through some boring lessons...
Atticus reached for the pocket inside his robes, fingering the outline of his wand in an inside pocket.
I'm sick of the no magic outside school rule. Think how much more we could learn if they would let us practice at home!
Ashley goes to eat a jelly bean and spits it out right away, before trying to wash down it's flavor with something to drink. Violeta's only resposne is to smirk at her cousin, knowing what happened. "Ugh, the classes. I hope Forsyth and some of the others got canned..otherwise I think they may have another dead student situation like what happened in our first year. But this time due to boredom." Violeta places the book down on the table. "It's annoying. I'm surprised they don't even restrict divination..at least I have that for now."
Cecil boards the train after saying the customary farewells to his parents and sisters, his tabby Orestes following close behind. Whistling lightly, he began to make his way through the various compartments, his eyes darting here & there in search of his old friends.
The headmaster is gone, I know that much, replaced by some ex-auror I hear. Probably a really tight fellow, aurors are usually pretty serious people.
Atticus removed the hair from his eyes and almost whispered
Some new instruction in Defense Against the Dark Arts might go a long way. I've been doing some...reading over the summer. A lot of what is currently classified as "dark magic" is hardly anything of the sort...
"Wonderful. Probably will flip out if I insult someone.." Violeta looks at her book, then whispers back to Atticus. "Of course it would. Madlow became a coward after those stupid mudblood Hufflepuffs ran off and one got eaten by the Acromantulas.." She then turns to Ashley. "Ashley, what do you think of Professor Madlow?" "Terrible professor. Along with Forsyth."
Ralph Twymold meanders up to the train with a heavy sack of supplies over his shoulder and a large covered cage hanging from his other hand, stops, and looks around, thinking about how much he already misses home and his friends at Chrysopylae. He then steps up onto the train, ignoring the masses of other first years dealing with sentimental farewells.
He wanders down the aisle looking for a place to sit.

Atticus gave a quiet snort of contempt
I wouldn't mind if they were all gone. What we need is professors who have actual experience, not book smarts.
Atticus glanced at the two empty seats next to him
The train does seem a bit...emptier this year. Death Eaters still about?
ooc: You kind of have to interject yourself into the RP here fellas, just join in.
Reserved, anyone up for some rp with Evie on the train?
sure :>

"Ceec!" said Weatherby with a wave, noticing his best friend entering the train. "How've you been?" Waverly merely beamed, and dangled a feather, one of several that now decorated her hair, for Orestes to play with.
