And it's the Spanish Jinetes. Looking nice.

Yes, a nice unit indeed. Hope they are useful. Diggin' the sheild as well.

Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Nice, CA delivers once more, their recent skins are far better than the earliest (exept for the Zweihander)

Well portugal is blue and white so he got their colors.
And the javelin is a bit weird but I guess it is just the website that is abit screwy.
Well, unfortunately they are still using faction colors, however they seem to be a lot more sensible.Originally Posted by Publius

I like the colors, I cant imagine England being anything other than red, France anything other than blue and Byzantines anything other than purple.
I love the new models, everything looks much realistic and darker, shame they didn't do that for R:TW, but thats what mods are for I guess
One of my favourite units in MTW. Looks very nice and not a single piece of plate armour in sight!
I don't really mind faction colours, as long as they're justified. I can live with red English and blue French, but not lime green Persians. God, my eyes took a beating out of those marsians.

Faction colours are simply a necessity, i think CA learned from RTW and made them a whole lot less neon-like. You simply can't ask for more than that.

I guess faction colours become less important in TW games (at least on the battle map) since you have the banners above the units to tell you what side they are on. The model looks great though, i like the angling spear thing too, you see what it looks like in various stages of attack
I agree, the new subdued colors are so much nicer than RTW's and a good argument for the inclusion of faction colors. It's just with increases in graphical technology they become less important as you can identify different factions by how they look, not how they are colored* (unlike Shogun and Medieval of course). But yes, even with purple factions and yellow and red factions it's nice to see everything sensible and not neon.Originally Posted by smoke
