Default FliegerAD for Civitate. (Patron: Rez)

    Candidate: FliegerAD

    Patron: Rez

    Patrons Statement:
Greetings councilmen, I am here to patronise the greatest historian i have ever had the pleasure of conversing with. FliegerAD has taught me more about history than my university lecturers, he has contributed some of the most well researched and constructed posts on history here at the TWC. His paticular interests mean that his posts often overturn the stereotypical historical myths that the ignorant perpetuate. Posts such as a history of early Scythian warfare stand out from the crowd in brilliance -

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showp...38&postcount=1

His contributions are more than just for his historical posts, which i believe rival SpartanJKM's. He has contributed more than i could imagine a man possible to Rise of Persia. Due to FliegerAD and him alone the TWC is hosting a mod that boasts the FIRST full reconstructions of the ancient Lydian and Babylonian armies. His efficiency and common sense would be a great boon to the Curia in this time of radical change. With more such work to come i would find it a grosse dissapointment if FliegerAD were not honoured as he deserves.

    Candidates Statement:
I have been on TWC for a long time. Although I was never an overly active poster for my limited time, I did read everything on this board with great interest. So I am quite aware of the development of and on TWC.
The mods always fascinated me very much, both the artistic excellence and the desire for historical accuracy greatly improving RTW. I have been involved in some modding, like the now dead Diadochi project and I have gained modding skills myself. My work with RoP has been the most fruitful so far. I can skin and edit txt-files, however my greatest ability is my knowledge in the fields of ancient history and archaeology, studying both subjects.
It does not only help RoP recreating forgotten empires having armies almost never covered by publications like the Lydians, you’ll get to see soon. It also helps achieving a certain standard during the ever popular historical discussions on TWC, since I seldom argue about debated things without backup of source and/or academic literature.

FliegerAD has no usernotes at this time.

This is FliegerAD's first attempt at becoming a Civitate

How can we deny him really? He could post a little bit more, but his historical knowledge is immense and he has obviously helped RoP in a great way....

    Yes.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Flieger is up? Ahh of course I will vote for him. Wonderful historian. I remember the debates he and vinda used to have, massive posts back and force each citing evidence and source to back their claims. They would even go across forums on occasion in their debates. Again, brilliant historian.
