Aegon or Aemon? The question had been bothering Antin since he left Riverrun as requested by a letter signed simply "A". He presumed it must be one of the Targaryens, as they requested he meet at Dragonstone, but he knew not which. The small ship, captained by a man Antin had known since he was a boy, sailed out of Saltpans in the dead of night, and had finally arrived at the impressive rock of an island and the castle that stood atop it. Dragonstone. The ship landed on the rocky coast, and Antin turned to the captain. "Thank you, Normyn. I will not soon forget this."
The man showed a toothless grin, and shrugged. "'Twas nothin', fer my Lord and a man I've known since he were a lad." With a quick smile, unlike the broad, handsome ones he gave in public, Antin jumped of the ship and onto the shore. Standing, he looked up at the castle, and made his way to the gates, pulling his cloak about him to shield himself from the spray.
The gates were opened quickly, and he was led into the private Solar of the king.
He pulled his hood down, shaking his head in a futile attempt to get the saltwater out of his hair and beard. He scanned the room, looking for the man he was supposed to meet.
Lord Stark departed the small boat he had managed to grab and nearly ran to the keep with a small retinue of 10 in tow. He had assumed the letter was from the King as the Master of Whispers would be telling any plots to him.
they are shown inside a small room, with a map of Westeros in the centre. The king is sitting at the end thinking.
Lord Stark leaves his ten men directly outside before entering and sitting down to await the king.
"Your Grace" Antin bowed quickly and shortly. "What is all of this about?"
Tytos arrived on the island with only a handful of men and his brother Tybolt. He was wroth he had to turn up the way he did, but his other affairs would have to wait.
The king looked up.
my lords. Suspicious happenings have been going on in the capital as of late involving a few lords Paramount.
Antin took a seat, but his eyes remained unreadable. He stayed silent while taking in what the King was saying.
Almost immediately Cregan's mind shot to Lord Greyjoy and Lord Baratheon, who he still had a meeting with after this. On the outside though he stayed silent.
He turned and looked at them.
have any of you been contacted by any Lords Paramount recently for meetings and similar things?
Cregan spoke up immediately.
Before I got your letter I was on my way to a meeting with Lord's Greyjoy and Baratheon.
He nodded slowly.
i though as much. Thank you, lord Stark. I would like you to go to this meeting, if it is not too much trouble, and tell me what they discuss. How they think, what they plan. Lord Baratheon recently tried to contact the royal treasurer and has been meeting with many lords in Kings Landing. He is suspicious, to say the least.
I gave myself three days before leaving to the Stormlands with Lord Greyjoy.
He nodded.
very good. Good luck to you, lord Stark. May the old gods and the Seven smile upon you.
Thank you my lord, is that all you called to talk about?
OOC: all that for three sentences on either side?
one more thing...
I would like you to keep an eye on lord Greyjoy for me.
Cregan nods,
It shall be done.
