Persnalised Legions

In the PC Gamer interview it is stressed that Legions will get "nicknames" associated with it`s performance in battle.
Could we expand this in scope and make it more personalised.?
eg
Germania/Italica/Cyrenaica Province where it gained distinction or was raised
Adiutrix pia fidelis Raised to supplement legionary strengh.
Macriana/Augusta/Triana/Claudia Emperor who raised it.
fortis Strong
Flavia firma Steadfast
Alaudae Fast mover
Gemina One legion made out of two.
Fretensis Involved in naval battle
Rapax Destroyed all in it`s path.

(Personalised) Well, from (opinion) my stand point, the only thing you could do is change the colour of the legions clothes, standards, maybe amour/helmet and give em names. To me that what I interpret from this whole personalised thing they speak about.

I like the idea that each legion will have its own history and its own stories. That's the greatest form of personalization imaginable, because you're in charge of writing that history. Nicknames are kind of a natural part of that idea.

Hey guys long long term TW player and follower of the forum only recently started posting.

Legions are going to be a big sell for me. My biggest hope is multiple legions can be grouped together to form Armies when needed under a family member general or that. Personalisation of legions has to imho include appointing a legate like you do ministers.

Anyone have any thoughts on the command unit for the legions? I know you would have your Legate, 5 Tribunes, and camp prefect and bodguard all could be represented in it but many legates had there own standard and you would have the trumpeters. Personally I think the trumpeters should be mounted for ease even tho in reality they were on foot.

I would actually really like the ability to edit Legion appearance, change unit name, etc. It would be nice if they gave us a little glossary as to what some things in Latin mean, like the OP posted (i.e Gemina, Fortis...) That way you don't end up naming your legion something silly (or, you know, whatever)
