(1) Create a new thread named "Histories"
(2) Major Events affecting the overall timeline of our alternate world will written down in a recorded point of view, as if a historian was recalling events from a few decades before.
- A major event is the War over Italy, especially if it lasted for a decade or more. (3) Perhaps this would be a unique feature that scribes could take up?
- (we currently have no scribes, so we'd make do until we do).
Here's an example of what a recorded history post would look like:

"The War of San Giovanni, MXV - MXVI" (numbers or numerals, doesn't really matter) In the Year of Our Lord, one-thousand and fifteen, a dispute for the Kingdom of Italy was made,
between .....
(there would be lots of images, preferably illuminated medieval images;

It would go on to explain the battles and such, as a historian would describe a war.
Mostly, this would be for artistic purposes, but it might also be constructive to start a timeline that only includes events that would belong on a timeline that spans, oh say, a century.
For example, possible new players looking through our forum might delight to find an organized thread that highlights the history of this world, rather than having to search through the Grand Archives for random bits of information.
Many events would be conglomerated together; at the time, the events may appear to be important on their own or deserve their own thread, but a decade or so later in-game may reveal that the said event was part of a long process or series of events.

-(EX) the first Italian War of 1494-98 was part of a very much bigger series of wars, called the Italian Wars in general, but at the time of the war no one would make such a connection. It wouldn't be until decades later that these would be all tied together and grouped together into one series of events in peoples' and historians' minds.

Oppose. I cannot bother the Hex to create an additional sub-forum. We have low activity, less players, and most likely I have a bad feeling about this already. Whatever we demand should have merit to back it up.
How about just a thread called "Histories" then? It can detail Kings, important events etc.
To keep the clarity of the thread there could be a no posting rule.
We will create it when we have enough material to have at least one conglomerated event.
Probably after the new emperor is crowned and this Italian war is over.
