The story
While Alexander's successors were fighting each other, Rome took advantage of their weaknesses and after some decisive battles they managed to expand their territories and influence across the Mediterranean Sea . The formerly great Macedonian Empire is now reduced to a small and weak kingdom fighting for survival. Ptolemies came close to the hill of destruction, after an unsuccessful war against Antiochus Epiphanes and only the intervention the Romans can save them. Seleucids have lost half of their empire to the Parthians and Eumenes of Pergamum is trying to undermine all of Alexander's successors to Rome, in order to take advantage of the situation. Meanwhile the Senate decided to remove the macedonian threat once and for all. After some average defeats they sent Aemilius Paulus with a great army to defeat Perseas. Now the Macedonian King faces the greatest challenge of his life. He has to defend his kingdom against the Romans. On the other hand the Romans have the opportunity to defeat the Macedonians and end this war once and for all...
Carthaginians are trying to recover after Hannibal's defeat and the humiliating peace conditions.
To the east The Baktrian Kingdom is split in half, surrounded with enemies and the Hasmoneans rebelled against Seleucid rule. And finally Barbarian nations are trying to expand their territories in the expense of the civilized world.
The outcome of this fight is certain...Some will RISE and Some will FALL!
The gameplay is more or less the same as with the first release except:
- Some units(mostly the weak) get 0 turn recruitment time - some got 2(Highly trained) / early general 3 - late 4
- Recruitment Cost is doubled for most units
- Upkeep is also increased( x 1.5 ) {These changes were made due to many battles with the best units of every faction-now the best units are not seen very often in the battlefield )
- Maybe the most important: The sub-mod will be compatible with rtw.exe, bi.exe and alex.exe(3 different downloads)
- There will be no installation;just unpack put in the Rtw folder and play(shortcut will be included)
Except with BI.exe, there will be one inaccuracy: Hasmoneans get Hierosolyma from the start of the campaign, because hording is available only with BI.exe
No bugs so far...Stay tuned for more! It will be out soon!
