Need help to modify an image please

Hello,

I'm trying to reduce an image so it can fit on my desktop (The image that I copied from the net is 298 ko).

Is there a way to reduce the pixel of the picture in Windows so that I can see the entire image on my desktop?

I have tried the program Paint but I have not been very successful

You can do this automatically by selecting "strech" or "spread" in the same tab as where you select your background.

If you still want a program to resize your images with try one of these:
Win XP powertoys
ACDSee or from here
Mihov
Or of course:

The reason i'm asking is because I am going on a trip to Greece this Sunday for 2 weeks.

It will be my first time there, I will be visiting Athens, Santorini, Crete and Rhodes.
