    Default Moving capital

There are numerous references to moving one's capital for various reasons, but my searches haven't come up with any surefire way to do it. So how do you move your capital? Thanks.

Go to the city's expanded menu, and look on the left corner of it, there are several options: too see the settlement on the battle map, to move the faction's capital, and to see the trading goods of the city.

If your role-playing your faction, think about if moving your capital to eg. Byzantion is what your leaders in Sparte, Athenai, Rhodos - and their populace want? - even if it's the most economic choice.

But perhaps the demos/leaders of Sparte, Athenai and Rhodos voted for that new capital?

Actually I'm not much into role-playing. Having a hard enough time surviving on VH/H. Either way it's a challenge. And besides, the demos/leaders of Sparte, Athenai, and Rhodos should be willing to make sacrifices in order to fulfill their (my?) imperial ambitions .

Imperial ambitions of the Greeks, good one! There's a reason why a barbarian Macedonian carried Hellenic culture to the East and not the Greeks themselves. Even threatened by Persians, they could never decide on anything.

    Sorry for the historic mini-rant.

No problem Boriak. If I might do a little seat-of-the-pants philosophizing, maybe the Greeks were an Occidental copy of the Chinese: They saw no need to forcefully expand their culture, since they believed any sensible person would adopt it voluntarily.

Well, the capitol of the greek koinons were not always the most possible or influential cities.

The centre of the Athenian empire was for a long time an island of Delos, where the treasury was located.

I am sure that if the Koinon Hellenikon of Athens and Sparta would endure through the Chremonidean War, they would choose some town as the place of gatherings and treasury. And it would not be Sparta (Athens would not agree) or Athens (Sparta would not agree). Maybe Megara? It was half the way. But for EB purposes, propably Korinthos.
