There are a number of positions that will need filling. Use this thread to sign up for a position, but bear in mind that returning players will have a slight advantage to get back a position they held before the game died.

It is very official, it is going to stand on you're recommendation the rest of you're life. You get a badge and everything. They are a part of the everyday running of the school, in some events, and they have the same authority as teachers in the event that they see students breaking the rules ect. ect..

what is a prefect? its one of those american things that we don't have in england (or at least not where i went to school) and i don't really get what its supposed to be.

Raglan, Prefects are a British thing, at the school I went to, they had a legal position of authority and responsibility, and were appointed by the Headmaster (Warden for me) and the Deputy Head (Sub-Warden). They would usually be one per House, and be headed by a Head Boy and if Co-Ed, a Head Girl.. At state/grammar schools they have monitors and things I think.

When I was one, you could dish out minor punishments, but you also had a legal obligation to report any bullying etc.. And you got a special tie and other privileges.
