    Default The Unique Faction Features

Does anybody know what makes each faction in this game (late era please, don't have a tendency to play early) unique other than the units they can select and their religions? Things such as events (like the william wallace event in scotland) or buildings (the santiago chapter house if you're one of the spanish factions).

Other then units... certain cities have unique buildings... like theres a unique cathedral in Venice I think, Jerusalem has a couple unique religeous buildings, several other cities have some.

The santiago (as well as hospitlar and templar) chapter houses are restricted to certain cities as well.

A lot of the 'unique' features implemented in the kingdoms expansion have been removed to make the factions useable in the grand campaign. E.g. the really unique features of the TO and Lithuania (religion based recruitment, foreign crusaders,...) are no longer used in the SS campaign. Most of the specialised unit rosters and battle feeling has been maintained, but if you want campaigns with unique features, Kingdoms is a better choice

Well BGRIV has religion based recruiting though it is more general than it was in the Kingdoms campaigns. Portugal and Castile get Knights of Santiago, Aragon gets Knights of Montesa (they carry maces).
