MSN Lockouts...

I've been locked out of my MSN hotmail account. Somebody was trying to guess it (without my knowledge) on my PC - and they inserted the wrong pasword one to many times.

Consequently I've been locked out for an un-specified period.

Does anybody know how long they last for?

I think its 24 hours.. but dont quote me on that. I couldnt find any particular answer on the net other than a vague reference to just having to wait 24 hours

Last time that happened to me, I had to use my secret question.

So after the 24 hours i would make a secret question or some other safeguard so this doesnt happen again.

hmm how about signing onto hotmail instead of msn?

It's not just you, my man. There seems to be something going around that attempts to exploit MSN. I've had the same trouble myself. Not to mention straaaange things going on in my HD.
I renamed msmsgs to something else when it's not in use as well as disabling any of the remote features in MSCONFIG, and things have smoothed out considerably. But then again, it may just be a nosy parent/GF.
