Possible to edit the text/font??

It's kind of annoying having to read faded looking grey fonts on those light brown backgrounds in the majority on the unit cards (see: general's traits) and the campaign notifier popups with text.

I've tried searching and all I found is people suggesting a change to the resolution...but it's more the CONTRAST between the font color and background. I also tried turning off "Bloom".

I can read this text, it just doesn't make sense that the font isn't BLACK or somewhat more readable...is it possible to modify the text's color or background on the UI? How hard would it be? I've never modded any games so I'm lost!

I'm also seeking an answer to your question. Perhaps I'm somewhat clueless here, because I cannot fathom the font colour selection. Are we missing something?
