How much percent movementpoints does one point give?


I do think Driven and energetic should give more movement points. After all a Driven person is constantly urging his troops to move faster without being a harsh task master. By doing everything fast himself he'll also inspires his troops to do all things faster.

E.g. they don't have to necessary walk faster, but can take less time to eat their breakfast and make/take down their camp.

Logistics and Disciplinarian should be the ONLY way to reach the highest movement.
furthermore martin, please type out what your traits actually gives in game so they can be checked.

1 movement point is 5%, you would require the love and or respect of the forces for that to work, or fear.

You compare a guy blessed with vigor making his units move 4 extra squares with a harsh Taskmaster (expert drillmaster) giving 4 extra... one jumps up and down on his horse urging his un-drilled troops, the other marches them regularly and enforces discipline (the core concept of any army)

It simply does not compare, an expert logistician at least have some things. He knows how to arrange the baggage train, plan the path, optimize setting camp etc and that can be vital.

Sure it should affect, but not nearly as much as a drillmaster and or logistician whom not only inspires but also actively affects. Theyre still there with the men and doing the same just like some vigourous guy. I simply cannot stand the thought of a well lord being hyper allowing him to march thousands of men as far as someone who have prepared his forces for such a thing and knows how to move optimally.

So should I change the ancilliary with +movement and one of the traits? Btw chivarly and dread affect battle results More dread reduce morale of enemies and more chivarly gives more morale to own troops. No idea if it affects auto resolve tho

As far as i know they only matter in lead battles (dread scares the enemy, chiv buffs ur morale. VERY noticable on higher lvls).

in cities/castles Dread pacifies people with fear, chivalry increase law and increase town growth.

Chivalry and dread affect it but only slightly and they both affect it in the same way.

Greenseer needs a serious tweak, +10 movement points = 50% more movement (and u have +2 10% DRIVEN too) You would be able to go from harren to KL in one turn xD just... no... and how would you even explain it? :S ( i see the future therefore i teleport! ) Anyhow its equal to 8 points in it self!

I can understand avoiding troublesome obstacles but... really? xD
Count hate andals as 1 point, especially considering ur special traits martin

Hates Andal is adding +2 command against all but one faction while mine is +1 command against two factions.

Big difference between them and the former is clearly a +2.

Commander of the Sunspear Guard: +2 Command, +1 Chivalry (1)

these are BOTH 2 pointers, there is no other trait that gives 2 command for 1 point unless youre aztec or mongol/timurid

I could always not allow movement points to be added to cc's and make a hidden trait like the LoyaltyStarter one adding 5 movement points (25% extra).

Limit traits to 25% or MAX 30% imho idd (5 points max 6)

20% 4 is a lot in it self and rarely seen, 25% 5 very rare and 30% 6 extraordinary (stannis).
Imho we should limit it to 25% 5 and 30% 6 on those who really push it (me^^)

As im a harsh taskmaster and logistician^^ The only realistic combo imho and costing me 4 points.
