    Default Changing the Antivirus

I have been using Avast for some time, and I am not very happy with it (too much reacorce usage)
I have using AVG before, but I heared that Avira uses MUCH less that everybody else.
Is this true and does Avira do it's job well?
Should I switch to it or AVG?

Is MSE enough to replace AVG or Avast?

I also run a full MalWare Bytes scan once a week for added security.

It doesn't play with Steam games like AVG and Avast do from my experience.
It also has not thrown false-positives on kingdoms.exe like AVG did three times in 2011 and all dvd versions.

What do you mean, "it doesn't play"?

"play" as in "you can play today" or "we dion't like your .exe and redflagging it". Steam has been blocked more then once by such software stupidity. Read Steam's FAQ for a list of programs that conflict with it and most are antivrus and firewall programs.

I must be lucky, since I've never had an issue with MSE and Steam.

In that case, I also recommend Microsoft Security Essentials over the other options.
