    OOC

Anyone, and I mean any noble from any region, can stand to contest for the throne.

But only the following people can vote.
    - ForteS
    - Jokern
    - Zeus Amon
    - M. Laveur
    - War lord

Just post your intent to stand, and possibly a line on why you should be King. Nominations open for 1 day. Voting for 2 days.

I, Rolf de Contentin, duke of Saxony, hereby stand for the position of king of Italy. I am the most powerful man in Germany, and I rule with an iron fist, but I am just. I am a devout Catholic and adhere to his Holiness' will, as you have probably seen by my instigation and participation of the Great Northern Crusade. I swear that I shall be a generous and fair ruler, protecting Italy from outside and inside threats, and allowing it to prosper and thrive. I put down the rebellious count of Baden! I took the fight to the Pagans! Our enemies shall be cast aside, or cast down! that is my word, and my word is iron!

I, Duke Cesare of Spoleto, stand for the position of King of Italy. I am one of the most powerful men in Italy and a natural leader of men as I restored order in Rome when a rebellion broke out that threatened the late Emperor and his Holiness the Pope's lives. No German lord shall be King of Italy. He does not live here, so why would he care about our problems? We need a man born and raised on our peninsula, someone like myself. I promise to be a good ruler, guard our traditions but not leave us behind the rest of Europe. We are the sons of Rome!

I, Duke Otto I of Toscan stand for the position of King of Italy. I'm the most powerful man of Italy, no other Italian noble holds so much land of men as I do! Under my rule the entire kingdom shall prosper! Furthermore I've the strongest blood line, my father ancestors rule in Italy for centuries and I'm grandson of a King. It's my right to occupy the throne of Italy. Those who join me will prosper, those who challenge me shall find nothing but decadence.

UNDER THE MOST HONORABLE PATRONAGE OF: Legio!
PATRON OF: Wangrin, ♔Sir Digby Chicken Caesar♔, Geronimo2006 and Narf!
