    Default Preferences.txt and BI - problem

    Not sure if this thread belongs here, but what the hell.

    Ever since I read this article i've been in love with the 'Minimal_UI' from Medieval/Shogun Total War. Recently I did a clean installation of Imperator II for RTRPE, and for some reason, modifying the line 'Minimal_UI' to 'TRUE' in the preferences.txt document in the main directory doesn't work as it should. I've also tried disabling the arrow markers as I have done in the past, but it seems like the preference.txt has no bearings on my personal settings for Imperator II. Is there a particular folder that the preferences text doc should be tossed into?

    C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome Total War\preferences\ preferences

    That will work now

    Thanks, you were right. Can't believe I passed over that folder Now to mess around with the Unified Animations pack!

    Theres another preferences.txt for BI, its in c:\main directory\bi\preferences
