Does the mod can be safely installed in the backup Rome copy?
Hey guys, first of all, thanks for these great mod.
Well, the question is really plain. Before installing a mod i used to create a backup copy of the entire RTW folder, so to, if things go wrong, dont have to install the game all over again. These means that the Rome total war doesnt appear in the list of "add programs" and, for example, cant install the barbarian invasion expansion 'cause it says that no prior installlation of the RTW has been found. Well, installing mods in these backup folder worked out for certain mods. Wondering wheter these mode can be safely installed in the backup Rome i've made?
Thanks for your time in responding.
cheers

Re: Does the mod can be safely installed in the backup Rome copy?
I always do 2 copies of my RTW folder ( after im done patching vanilla up). Then i use my copies to install diffrent mods on or mod myself. So if i understand you correct it should not be a problem to install a mod on a copy folder of your RTW main folder.
