    Thank you for your answer! It's a good questions what i can do, I don't have the amount of time of microprogramming new grafiks and stuff but i can be a tester, and I can give you advise about the "Thracian faction. I've play this game for so long and I never won it (Conquer everything). So much I love it. I know a lot of history cos I'm born in Transylvania, the home of the dacians. You are welcome to write me it's easier to answer.. cosmin@home.se and if you do that I might even consider sending you a pic holding my own made falx..

    News:
    I have freed some slots up in the DMB by combining units that use the same model. I am hoping to add in a few units today and when I do, expect screen shots of them in action!

    Hey ahowl, While playing your mod for RTR Platinum, someIdeas came to mind while I was Playing as Baktria and Here are some SuggestionsI have in regards to its unit roster:
    1. Turn thecurrent Pezoi Unit Model from the standard Phalanx unit to more of a spear/Hoplite Unit bychanging the Animation. The Reason I say this is due to the new Animation youadded to the Phalanx units. The Baktrian Pezoi’s shield looks too large for aPhalangute and the unit model looks too nice for a Pezoi so maybe you can change it to act more likea spear unit like the Poeni Citizen Infantry and Re-name it something like Indo-Greek Noble Hoplite or something. Plus it will be a Proper Flank Support Unit forthe Phalanx.
    2. Change the Agema Unit Model to a Pezoi. Why? Well in myOpinion, the Pezoi has a way Nicer unit model Compared to the Agema and I feltthe two should have been switched. But with my suggestion of Changing theCurrent Pezoi Unit Model to a HYpaspist/Hoplite unit that means the Agema Unit Model can replace the old Pezoi Unit Model and You can add a more eliteLooking Pike Unit as an Agema.
    3. Add at least one more Cavalry Unit, MySuggestion would be to Convert the Baktrian’s Current General’s Bodyguard Unit Model toanother, might I suggest a Cataphract Unit Model, I would Suggest Rarity's Baktrian Winged Cataphract as a good choice, and Make the Old Bodyguard unit Model into a regularCavalry unit, perhaps a xystophoroi.
    Just my suggestion on changing and Improving the BaktrianRoster without having to do much in regards to modeling.

    Very, very good suggestions! I think I'll do just that. There is a bactrian lancer unit from the 6.0 version that isn't in use anymore. Besides the basic changes I'll have to change the stats of the Pezoi to reflect a regular line unit. Then the 'Bactrian Agema' which will be the hoplite unit will need to have similar stats to Poeni Citizen infantry. Thanks for that!

    Glad I could Help, The Units models always seemed to be given the wrong role, I always felt the Pezoi Model was more suited as a Hoplite unit without the Phalanx formation like the Seleucid Spear Hypaspist given it's Large Shield and the Agema Unit Model was more suited as a Pezoi since its design really didn't scream elite to me. I'm Serious about Rarity's Winged Bactrian Cataphract though, I think it would make an Excellent General's Bodyguard, just change the horse model to the current Cataphract horse Model, but hey that's just my opinion. Also, How many units do you plan to put in the Bactrian Agema, Might I suggest 80 since the Seleucids have 80 in their Legionary units on Large Scale Unit Size in game, you can keep the Hypaspists swords at 40.

    I probably won't add the winged cataphract. I am trying to stick to a certain feel when it comes to units.
    Yeah the Agema will be 80 men.
    Tonight I added two new units, Sicilian Hoplites and Etrurian Hoplites. Both are AOR units, Sicilians can be recruted in ever settlement in Sicily, Etrurians can only be recruited in Arretium.

    Nice, and thinking about it, I agree, the winged Cataphract won't suit the mod. Besides, there is a sense of uniqueness to the Baktrian General unit, a Hellenic eastern feel since its a greek style unit but uses a bow before charging. I can't wait to see how the New Agema will Look, I know its just the old Pezoi Unit Model Converted to act like a Hoplite but I drool at the thought of having a proper Flank Support unit for the Phalanx since that has always been my bane in my Baktria Campaigns, Damn Armenians and their Flank Charges wiping out my joint Hypaspists, Sparabara flank guards.

    News:

    I have done a tremendous amount of brainstorming today.. I have decided to come out with a final version of sorts for RTRPE II before overhauling it to my liking. So basically when I release RTRPE II v2.0, that will be the last installment of the RTR 6.0 Gold Era. After that it's on to a new era. Yes, the mod will still be known as RTRPE II, but it will not be the same mod. Should I call it something else? Let me know, as I will consider it.

    Anyways, before I dedicate an entire post to the future, I will list what will be expected to be in 2.0:

    Bactrian shuffle: Pezoi will become Agema (Hoplites) and Agema will become Pezoi. Also, Bactrian Lancers will be re-included. Thanks to b257 for these suggestions.
    New Units: Along with Etrurian Hoplites and Sicilian Hoplites, expect to see three more units: Italian Light Cavalry, Sarmatian Spearmen, and Bronze Shield Pikemen for Pontus.
    New Unit Names: Athenai Hoplitai, Spartiates Hoplitai etc bother me. Look to see Athenian and Spartan Hoplites.

    And that's it. I honestly do not want to change RTRPE that much because it is a total classic and meddling with classics is not a good idea. Of the units I will be adding, only one of the five will be foreign to RTR, and the Etrurian Hoplites can be considered a cousin of RTR coming from ExRM. As far as the Aesthetics, RS2 Environments were needed to make the mod feel more modern and realistic. Plus the Campaign map needed a facelift. Along with the Bug Fixes, I think that 2.0 will be a solid ending to a great mod series. Now for the future? I will save that for the next post after I finish some homework

    If I understand correctly, I will copy and replace everything except the battlefield folder, ok?...and...which other files is related with it? which of all?

    Browse the files. Anything that has something to do with the battlefield shouldn't be added to your version.. Post a screen shot of the folder and I'll tell you which files to not copy over

    Okay, delete the following:
    battlefield
    models_vegetation
    terrain/battlefield
    terrain/battlefieldmynew
    textures
    vegetation
    descr_geography
    descr_grass
    descr_vegetation (both files)
    All descr_water etc files

    Then you should be good to go. Remember that it needs to be installed into your rtrpe 2.0 mod

    I followed your instructions exactly, and missed all the files that you mentionedand and it does not work, CTD every time I try to load the any battle, any other ideas?

    when I tried to add only new over-hand animation for hoplites, it worked!! But I'd like to use all improvements of this patch, except the RSII environment of course

    Then try adding everything one at a time that doesn't deal with the battlefield.

    so I try to copy the folder after folder (Always with backup of the original files), and hopefully I will find what causes crashes

    ok so it was caused by a descr_aerial_map_ground_types.txt and descr_climates.txt files, I think...descr_climates.txt definitely
