    Hello everyone! Do any of you still play the classic Rome Total War mod Rome Total Realism? No, not the new one that came out, but the old one that had labels of RTR Gold or RTR Platinum. I used to play that mod myself, and it was and still is my favorite mod to play. Once I saw that LestaT had made the mod playable with Alexander and added a few new things to it, I began to get some ideas, and here is what I have been able to come up with so far:

    Included in 1.0
    - Added New Campaign map ground and water textures from Ancient Empires Elysium
    - Added new tree models for campaign map from M2TW
    - Added RS2 Environments for the Battle map
    - Added RTRVII's Settlement models for the Campaign Map
    - Added Resef's Combined Animations Pack
    - Edited all Pikemen, they now fight with two hands and have their shield strapped to their wrist
    - Edited all hoplites, they now fight overhand and are not in the pseudo-phalanx formation anymore
    - Included Candelarius' German unit names. Instead of having proto-germanic names, they are now translated into English.
    - Added Campaign Radar maps from AqD's RTR mod. They just look better.
    - Brought back vanilla Rebel symbols for the Rebel faction on the campaign map. (No more blank banners)
    - Edited Rome and Gaul's faction colors to be a little darker
    - Edited Rebels faction color to be one solid color to disable region lines on radar map
    - Included Marcus Camillus' 4tpy mod.
    - Included the No Landblock Mod
    - Included the no torches mod during night battles

    Installation:
    1. Download and Install RTRPE v2.0
    2. Download RTRPE II v1.0
    3. Extract the 'data' folder to your 'rtrpe modfolder'
    4. Play!

    1.1 Patch
    This patch makes it possible for every faction to access it's highest barracks level so they can recruit all units available to them. Also, it fixes the bug where the Greeks couldn't recruit any of their missile troops.

    Installation:
    Extract the export_descr_buildings.txt file into your RTRPE data folder, then play!

    You MUST have RTRPE v2.0 installed already to play RTRPE II.

    RTR Platinum is always a base for many other mini mods. In fact when I started years ago actually was for selfish reason to update my original Imperator mod (for RTR 6 Gold) to be playable with RTW 1.5

    So feel free to use the mod as a base and as long as it's hosted in RTR own forum and any units/stuff etc used which is not from this mod properly credited there should not be any issue.

    @raubak I did, it seems like an excellent mod good luck with it! I might ask for some assistance with the indian culture if you wouldn't mind

    I'm having a bit of trouble with the textures for the map right now. Everything looks great but there are some pink blotches in place of grass. I believe it is the darker grass the RTR features, because it is in the same spots. Any idea on how to fix this?

    pink blotches -its a not proper color in map_ground_types

    photoshop ...must be a proper color of the ground...

    Oh! No, it's not like that.. What I am saying is this:

    In RTR it seems like there is a texture added to the original textures of RTW. It's a grass texture and it is pretty easy to tell the difference between it and the other textures. Is there a way to get rid of that texture entry in the file or something? That would easily take care of my problem because the pink areas only show up in the places where that different grass texture was.

    no solution only if add an appropriate texture grass ... because judging by the screenshot you have lost it ... check the file descr_geography

    Another option is to install RTR Platinum 1.9 (mod foldered) where there is option to use vanilla or RTR texture. Choose vanilla one and replace it in 2.0

    I build 2.0 with RTR texture by default IIRC.

    Okay, I get an error talking about how it failed to read the censory dictionary file? Anyone know what that might mean? It pops up as soon as the game starts running
