a small flyer is dropped outside his apartment door.

    hail, would be crusader!
The righteous Christians of Germany and Italy have taken up a holy crusade to free the north of the evil pig worshipping pagans! All people who wished to be cleansed of their sins should seek out duke Rolf of saxony, for a pagan slain is a sin cleansed!

    Deus Vult!

As Publius pours his stool bucket out his window, he hears the ramblings of a man standing on a crate outside his apartment. The man appears to be advertising a Christian crusade of some sort, in Germany. Publius listens, shrugs his shoulders, walks over to his bed, and wakes up the two prostitutes, and kicks them out of his apartment. He then gets dressed, and puts his equipment into a sack, and swings it onto his back. As he makes his way outside, he finds a letter on his door, reads it, and reaffirms his adventure north, then he makes for Germany.
