Default Loking for string.bin to .txt files converter

    Hi there,

first of all let me say that I have looked everywhere to find a converter in order to convert the string.txt-files of Medieval II into txt-files.

All the sites and threads that I found relating to this topic pointed towards two tools: 'M2SBE' and 'Strings Bin Converter' by Alpaca

Neither of those tools work. So does anyone know of any other tool to convert the string.txt files? In case there isn't any other can someone send me those files for the german version of Medieval II vanilla and Kingdoms?

    I'd greatly appreaciate any help!

I don't know about the M2SBE tool, but Alpaca's tool works. It does however require a Python version NOT higher then 2.7 to do so. The alternative would be the BinEditor included with the Geomod Tool. Refer to my manual on how to work with it.
