After several days travel, William McGregor arrives outside the Royal Castle. He walks up to the guard at the gate.

Excuse me guard, but I have been told by King Alfred himself to travel here. My name is William McGregor and I believe I am expected.

William enter the Royal Castle, nervous of the path he has chosen. If it hadn't been for that terrible night, Jane would still be with him and he would still be in Glasgow. But he couldn't change the past, so all he could do was to look forward, towards a new future.

He is shown to a grand hall.

A group of riders had entered London late that day, holding the standard of House Beckett, those of the former Princedom of Somerset since the premature death of Geoffrey III Beckett. A young man now enters the courts of the noble King, Alfred II.

He had grown through the many years and matured into a fine and handsome man. This young man had only recently returned from his self exile in France to return and continue the loyal services of his father. He was Robert Beckett, son of Geoffrey and thus the former heir apparent to the Princedom of Somerset. He approaches the King and kneels before him.

Your Majesty, Alfred II, the noble and rightful King of England. It is an honor to finally meet you.
