need help with home network setup

I just replaced my router with a switch to utilise the 2 IPs that my ISP offers with my account, but I am unable to get my computers to talk to each other over the switch. with the router it was easy, just set the computers to the same workgroup and they talk to each other after I enable file sharing. However, on the switch network, they don't appear on each other's network even though their workgroup names are the same and I ran network setup wizard on both computers again. here is a diagram of what I have now:



it's pretty much the same network i had in place before except now I have the switch in place of the router. if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated

Kinda unclear what you are trying to do here. A switch can't be used to distribute internet. So you won't have internet with this setup. Could be that the modem is 'confusing' the switch. Try dissconnecting it, and see if the see each other now. And post some more setting. Like ip setting and stuff..
